Washington Research Foundation’s gift program assists numerous research, education and recruitment efforts.
Our support includes the Seattle chapter of the Achievement Rewards for College Scientists (ARCS) Foundation, which helps bring many of the country’s top graduate students to the University of Washington (UW) and Washington State University. Our gift program also funds the Washington Research Foundation Faculty Recruitment Award at the UW.
Gift highlights:
WRF was a founding partner of the UW’s Creating Futures campaign, which raised over $2.5 billion and will help to ensure that the UW has the means to remain competitive among the world’s premier research institutions.
In addition, WRF backs “gap” funding programs that target research and technologies with strong commercial potential at organizations including the UW, Fred Hutchinson Cancer Research Center, Washington State University and Benaroya Research Institute.
WRF continues to provide assistance for university-level enterprises such as the UW Center for Commercialization’s Entrepreneurs-in-Residence program, which partners researchers with experienced entrepreneurs and business executives to help potentially marketable technologies reach startup stage.
